The Fallout series follows the post-apocalyptic events of a nuclear war ravaged America. In a future envisioned by 1940’s Americans, the world is thrown into turmoil when feuding countries decide to detonate their nuclear weapons all over the world.
The post-apocalyptic genre has long been a feature of network and streaming television. The transition from gaming to television seems a natural fit for Fallout.
Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan from Kilter Films had this to say about the project, “Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios,”
There has been no release date or general timeline attached to this project. As the show develops and more details come to light, Popcorn Banter will keep you updated via our website and socials.
